Whole Hog Deposit is $206
- Price is $3.85/lb hanging weight, plus set butcher fee of $250 & smoking fee.
- Approx. hanging weight of 250lbs
- Will yield around 160-180lbs of take-home meat
Total approx. price for a whole hog, including butcher fees ($962.5-$975 to Long Farm & $250 butcher fee to Appel Valley Butcher Shop.) Plus a small smoking fee, if you choose smoked meat options.
Includes:
Ham, Bacon, Bone-in or boneless: Pork Chops, Loins, Boston Butts, Picnic Roasts, Ribs, Bacon, and Sausage (Pick three sausage flavors: Hot Italian, Sweet Italian, Regular, & Maple.)
Extras: Lard, Scrapple
Take Into Account:
- This is completely customizable. We will be in touch with you as we get closer to the pork processing time. Additionally, you will speak directly with the butcher to customize your whole pork share.
- Invoice for the remaining balance will be sent the week of pick-up or once we have final weights.
